AirNav's Fuel Stop Planner is completely free to use and can save you both time and money. Just follow these easy steps:

Step 1: Go to

Step 2: Click on the Aviation Fuel Tab

Step 3: Click Plan a flight with fuel stops

Step 4: Enter your departure and destination airports

Step 5: Enter details about airport requirements, runway lengths, and aircraft performance

Step 6: Select Shortest Route, Cheapest Route, or Find My Own Route 

Based on the parameters that you have input, AirNav will provide you with all of the possible routes and enable you to decide which route best meets your needs by being able to:

  • See the savings you can achieve by choosing a specific route
  • Compare the savings to the shortest possible route
  • See how much distance the different routes add to your trip
  • Exclude any undesirable airports and quickly recalculate the routes
